Yes. As with a standard bathtub all of our walk-in baths enable the user to have an integrated shower as well. Both are designed to be as easily accessible as possible. With some of our walk-in bath models, they are shaped in a way so other users can use the shower.

All our walk-in baths are designed with numerous safety features to ensure the users' complete safe use. They all have low-level access and inward-opening doors for safe and easy bath entry. Grab rails can be fitted to the walls surrounding the bath for stable entry and exit. 

The taps are also fitted with thermostatically controlled taps to ensure your bath fills at the perfect temperature to avoid scalding. 

The walk-in baths also have anti-slip flooring to ensure complete safe use. 

Yes of course. At Assistive Bathing we specialise in creating personalised accessible bathrooms and so all the baths in our range will be available in various sizing options. The baths can also be available with left or right-hand facing doors to suit your bathroom space.

Yes. With a walk-in bath, you need to ensure you are in the bath and the door is locked and sealed tight before you start running your bath. However, the bath taps have thermostatic taps that can be set to the appropriate temperature so the water is the perfect temperature whilst filling. The baths often have an integrated seat or lift for you to sit on whilst the bath fills with water.

Yes. You must ensure the bath is drained before you can open the door of the walk-in bath. However, all our walk-in baths have vortex quick drain so the bath empties faster than a normal bathtub. 

Yes, we have several baths in our range that have an integrated bath lift to suit those who struggle to lower themselves in and out of the bath. This makes for an easier more relaxing bathing experience and can bring back the users' independence. 

No, a well-designed walk-in bath should not leak at all. The integrated doors all have a safety lock which seals tightly ensuring the bath is watertight, minimising the risk of a leak. The user steps in the bath before filling and closes the door, using the safety lock to seal the door.
