New! Installation Manager

Due to a planned expansion, we are looking for an office based Installation Manager to provide efficient and timely  installation management of bathroom installations.

The role will involve :

  • Creating a network of fitters, identify active ones from our database, provide information on our rates and the opportunity. Identify their skills, travel distances and skill sets.
  • Manage a team of surveyors ensuring the allocation of surveys and customer visits are carried out efficiently.
  • Responsible for booking fitters to install bathrooms in a cost-efficient and timely manner.
  • Managing the fitter costs and expenses in line with the company KPI’s.
  • Organise inspections by surveyors during and post installation to ensure our high standards are maintained and Health and Safety regulations are met. Ensuring they provide the office with a detailed quality fitter report.
  • Responsible for organising the return of stock items that are not required for the installation.
  • Individually deal with problem customers to resolve issues. Report major problems to Sales Operations Manager.
  • Achieve the monthly installation targets set by the company in the most cost-effective manner.
  • Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans and once approved; implement improvements.
  • Having regular meeting to discuss forthcoming installations, the scheduling of the delivery, the fitter availability and the stock completeness.

Your role will be to ensure that every installation runs smoothly and safely, taking ownership of the process and ensuring that customers receive a top class service.

You will be reporting into the Operations Manager working as part of a small and professional team and dealing with some of the best suppliers in the industry. You will be compiling and maintaining each installation, fitting teams are adequately briefed, trained and fully equipped and that customers are communicated with throughout the process. You will be asked to resolve operational issues that will periodically crop up in a fast and efficient manner and will also responsible for co-ordinating any remedial actions that may occur.

Ideally, you should be experienced in bathing mobility industry, and have the ability to manage experienced fitting teams. You will need excellent planning and organisational capabilities along with effective communication skills. You must be a team player who enjoys taking responsibility and must be able to react quickly and effectively to resolve problems.

This role would suit somebody already working within  the sector, who would be interested in working for a high-end business for whom quality, attention to detail and reputation is key.

Salary is negotiable dependant upon experience

28 days Annual Leave with additional holiday awarded on length of service

Bathroom Fitter 

We are seeking experienced, professional and reliable self-employed contractors who would ideally have a minimum of three years experience in fitting disabled bathrooms in the following areas:

Scotland; Wales; England ; North East; North West; Midlands; South West; South East; London and Surrounding areas

As an experienced fitter you must be able to undertake works to a high standard and work in a conscientious and professional manner. You will have attention to detail, good communication skills, clean tidy and reliable and be able to undertake the complete project from start to finish.

You will possess a good and experienced skill set in plumbing and heating systems; be able to fit sanitary ware, plaster boarding and wall boarding. You will also have experience in carpentry to be able to box in, fit skirting, doors, build frames and fit fitted furniture.

As this is a self employed role, you will have your own van, tools and public liability insurance
